It is with great pride that the Isuarsivik Regional Recovery Centre received the Award of Excellence 2020, Ministers’ Choice Distinction, Community Organizations Network. Each year, the Ministry of Health and Social Services of Quebec (MSSS) recognizes the exceptional contribution of organizations from the health and community sector by presenting Awards of Excellence. The most respected award is the Ministers’ Choice Distinction, Community Organizations Network, which was awarded to Isuarsivik this year. This first-time accomplishment for a Nunavik organization was celebrated on December 10 during an intimate ceremony respecting regional sanitary measures. The Nunavik Regional Board of Health and Social Services (NRBHSS) was mandated to present the award Isuarsivik on the behalf of the MSSS, until the Ministry hosts an official award ceremony in Québec City in the fall of 2022.
