Accreditation Canada on-site survey scheduled for May

Accredited since May 2017, Isuarsivik Recovery Centre’s team has recently completed the Primer Survey, which was the first step on our quality improvement journey with Accreditation Canada.

Accreditation Canada is an independent, not-for-profit organization that sets standards for quality and safety in health care and accredits health care organizations in Canada and around the world. In May 2019, and after months of preparation, our organization will undergo the Qmentum Accreditation Survey.

This program involves an evaluation of the quality and safety of the organization’s programs and services. Following a comprehensive self-assessment, external peer surveyors will conduct an on-site survey during which they will assess Isuarsivik against Accreditation Canada standards.

We are optimistic about obtaining this important certification and are looking forward to the results that should come at the beginning of the summer.
