Outings and Cultural Activities

Our Inpatient Individual Program is unique in the Canadian Arctic. We provide Inuktitut material but an important component of our recovery curriculum is outings and cultural activities.

Our men’s and women’s cultural teachers are committed to planning traditional activities on the land for hunting, fishing and berry picking and in-house for sewing, beading and carpentry.

Every week, our group goes out on the land twice and they enjoy at least two (2) culture class evenings. Daily walks on the land are mandatory every weekly morning.
